UX/UI MOTION
Smooth transitions, animations, and micro-interactions provide visual feedback, making interactions feel intuitive and engaging. Motion can communicate hierarchy, reduce cognitive load, and create a seamless flow between actions, helping users navigate with confidence.
In my contract role as a motion designer for Microsoft EDU, I played a key role in refining and applying the product’s first motion language. Working closely with Senior and Lead designers, UX designers, and developers, I contributed to the development of essential motion interactions that enhanced the EDU product’s user experience.

In addition to my work on Microsoft EDU, I was responsible for motion testing in Microsoft Reader. This role involved creating UX animations and designing engaging, delightful interactions tailored for a younger student audience.

On the Microsoft Edge team, my role focused on designing reward rollover animations to effectively highlight available help features, enhancing user engagement and accessibility.

Additional projects demonstrating a loading icon, parallax, and continuum transitions.
Thoughtful choreography helps maintain flow between interactions, reducing cognitive load and making navigation more intuitive. It also reinforces brand personality, creating a cohesive visual language that enhances user trust and enjoyment. When executed effectively, choreography transforms motion from a mere aesthetic enhancement into a powerful tool for storytelling and usability.
Straying from fancy design terminology and concealed complexities, my work is sincere and direct. Design supported by data and process creates engaging work that produces results.
